Intermountain’s residential programs and outpatient services are strength-based, community-focused and individualized to support the abilities of children, adolescents and adult members and their families. Through the Outpatient Network Services provided by Intermountain Centers, children, adolescents and adult members increase day-to-day functionality and are able to live successfully in a more stable environment at home and in their community. Intermountain Centers offers a variety of groups for enrolled members. Intermountain offers access to Outpatient/In-Home Support Services for at-risk children from birth to 21 years who are Title XIX eligible.
Intermountain offers Behavior Assessment Services to children and adults exhibiting behavior challenges. These services — provided in both English and Spanish — are individualized and focus on the strengths of each member while teaching their families strategies to cope with and resolve behavior problems.
Intermountain Health Center, Inc., provides an array of psychiatric services for children, adolescents and adults, including comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and follow-up psychiatric treatment. All assessment and treatment services are focused on providing evidence-based services to meet the individualized needs of our members which may include the use of medications and/or psychosocial interventions. Our staff provides in-office, face-to-face services and is comprised of experienced child and adolescent psychiatrists, general psychiatrists, a nurse practitioner, and nurses. In addition, technology is used to allow for innovative community-based service provision via telemedicine that connects skilled psychiatric providers with members who are in different locations.
The Little Cubs Clinic is for children 18 months – 12 years old who have been diagnosed with Autism or a similar diagnosis. Children in the Little Cubs Clinic receive 6-20 hours/week of 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis in a clinical setting with our qualified staff in individual treatment rooms for COVID risk mitigation. We encourage parent participation in our sessions and offer separate parent education sessions. These parent education sessions are aimed at targeting pivotal skills parents can implement with their child and giving parents strategies to reduce challenging behaviors in the home.
