CODAC offers specialized treatment for people in recovery from opioids (heroin, morphine, Oxycontin, fentanyl, etc.) with the help of FDA-approved medications. Prescribed medications often include Methadone, Buprenorphine (Subutex), Suboxone and Naltrexone (Vivitrol) with consistent therapy and peer support. Also at this location, Men’s Recovery Services are available.
When you decide you are ready to stop using drugs and come to CODAC, we will conduct an assessment and determine if medication will help in your recovery. In CODAC’s Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, clients are helped through withdrawal and then are prescribed medication by a Behavioral Health Medical Professional. How the medication is working will be closely monitored by your treatment team and adjusted as needed.
Taking care of the whole you — your physical, mental and emotional health — is very important in your recovery from drug use. You will work with the treatment team to create an individualized recovery plan that may include:
- psychiatric care (for depression, anxiety, and more serious mental illnesses)
- physical health care (primary care)
- OBGYN (for female members and members assigned female at birth)
- counseling and case management
- individual and group therapy
- peer support groups
- wellness support groups
